I am the Managing Director of Flat Roof Coatings Ltd, a business built around a passion for providing exceptional products and services in the roofing industry of the same name (think Ronseal and the tin!). Having collaborated with roofers, specifiers, material suppliers and customers over the years, I have gained the experience to understand their true needs.
I have seen lots of products fail to meet these needs, despite often claiming the contrary. Through a thorough understanding of the science behind them, I was moved to get involved with a particular product range that hits that sweet spot. This both excited me and permitted me to see an opportunity for innovation in a traditional market.
These products made me want to take them to market through my own business. I am not a salesperson; I am a qualified and experienced engineer with a Master of Science in polymer engineering. With practical experience in roofing applications, I understand what really works and, as importantly, what does not.
